A 27-year-old man recently named a person of interest in two homicides in Clarksville has been located in Kentucky.

Police said Timothy Ogburn was found Wednesday after he was identified as a person of interest.

The most recent incident happened around 12:40 a.m. when police responded to a shots fired call in the area of Providence Boulevard.

Officers were flagged down at the 200 block of Mitchell Street by a man who said a woman had been shot inside of a vehicle.

She was found inside the Chrysler 300 with a gunshot wound. The victim, said to be in her 30s, was transported by ambulance and died from her injuries.

"We always look for justice for the victim. A lot of people get hung up on the reason why things happened. Bottom line for us is, we want to find who did it and prosecute them. Families deserve it, and people who know them deserve it and justice needs to be served," said Jim Knoll, Clarksville Police, Public Information Officer.

Detectives said Ogburn is also a person of interest in the shooting death of Julian Torres on May 19.
