Investigators with the Metro Nashville Police Department have found a new lead in one of Nashville’s most mysterious missing person cases.

Police released a photo of a man identified as Juan, who they believe may have lived or spent time in East Nashville in 2003 when Tabitha Tuders disappeared.

Tuders, 13, disappeared in April of 2003.  She left her home on Lillian Street in East Nashville, but never made it ot the bus stop or to Bailey Middle School.  Over the years, countless searches and tips haven't been able to bring her home, but now her family hopes this new photo brings new attention to the case.

"We’re never going to give up," said Debra Tuders.  "She’s going to come home one day, or we will find the information to lead us to where she’s at."

"We’re not going to get our hopes up, because we will get them busted back down again if it leads to nothing," said Bo Tuders.

Both Bo and Debra Tuders said they didn't recognize Juan, but believe someone out there knows him.

"I hope people come forward," said Debra Tuders.  "Maybe they will let us know some information."

Police say Juan was 19 years old when Tuders disappeared. Officials said he drove a 1987 Red Honda Prelude and a green car of an unknown make or model. He was arrested in East Nashville in 2003 for delivery and possession of marijuana.

Police  have asked anyone with information as to where he may be to call Detective Steven Jolley at 615-862-7843.
