Parolee arrested after allegedly breaking into home and threatening to kill victim

A convicted thief and burglar parolee is back behind bars after breaking into a home and threatening to kill the resident.

Police responded quickly on Monday after a victim arrived home to find a man in his home who then threatened to kill him before fleeing on foot.

Kevin Stodghill was arrested for burglarizing two residences on the 2000 block of Beech Avenue after a fleeing the victim's home.

The victim later identified Stodghill as the man who threatened him. 

It was reported that Stodghill left mail and other items he had taken from a neighboring house inside the victim's residence.

Stodghill, 49, is being held on a $45,000 bond on two counts of aggravated burglary and aggravated assault.
