The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says they have charged an Overton County woman with the 2017 murder of a Livingston man.
On December 4, the Overton County Grand Jury returned an indictment with one county of first-degree murder.
Thursday, authorities served Brandi Angela McDougle, 41, with the charge at the Overton County Jail where she was currently being held for violation of her probation.
Timothy Melton, 41, was found deceased in his Highland Mountain Road hoe on December 22, 2017.
