NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — An outburst from a crowd member and gruesome testimony for an alleged kidnapping victim led to a dramatic preliminary hearing for a Nashville music producer.

Shin was accused of kidnapping and abusing his ex-girlfriend for several days. He was charged with aggravated sexual battery and his case was bound over to the Grand Jury.

On Tuesday, she took the stand and explained some of what she claimed she was forced to do during the days of her alleged kidnapping. She told the court Shin forced her to eat glass, beat her with multiple objects, and even shoved a clarinet into her body.

During her testimony, a man, whose connection to the victim was unknown, burst into the courtroom gallery and approached the table where Shin was seated.

Judge Gale Robinson quickly stopped the man and had him escorted from the courtroom. Once in handcuffs, the man was brought back into the courtroom to explain his outburst. He gave his name and then loudly said "Look at her [referencing the victim on the stand] and look at him. I’m going to f*** him up!"

The Judge told the man he could either leave the building or go to jail for 10 days. The man kept trying to look at Shin... and finally told the Judge, “I’ll leave.”

It was pretty dramatic.

A bond source hearing for Shin will be held in Criminal Court Div. III at a later date.
