Options for voting before election day become limited

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — To cast their ballots at early voting locations in Nashville on Wednesday, hundreds of voters braved the rain and many faced lengthy lines. Some said they waited more than an hour at the Hermitage library polling location.

But by taking their stances both inside their early polling place and outside Wednesday, the groups avoided the decision that many Davidson county voters have to make now - the last-minute options.

Thursday is the final day for early voting in Nashville, which could mean long lines similar to those in Nashville on Wednesday. If voters have applied for and received a mail-in ballot, it is likely too late to mail that in.

Instead, they can hand over their stamped mail-in ballot to a postal employee at the post office at 901 Broadway, which counts as sending the ballot through the USPS.
