NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — One person suffered minor burns when fire broke out at an apartment complex in the Edgehill area of Nashville. About 10 people have been displaced.
Nashville firefighters said the call came in Wednesday afternoon at Edgehill Avenue and 9th Avenue.
Our personnel made a good stop on this fire. When they arrived flames were coming from the second floor window. We transported one person with what appeared to be minor burns. Fire officials said when crews arrived on scene, flames were coming from the second-floor window. One person was taken to an area hospital with minor burns.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. The American Red Cross responded to assist those who've been displaced.
