MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WTVF) — A shooting at a party in Murfreesboro has left one man dead and two others injured early Saturday.
According to Murfreesboro Police, the shooting happened during a fight between several people at a duplex party on Ewing Boulevard shortly after 3 a.m.
Giovanni Gillis, 21, died at the scene.
Two other male victims were taken to St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in private vehicles. They were transported to Nashville and are reported to be in stable condition.
Police say least two dozen people were at the party. Two were grazed by bullets but refused medical treatment.
Investigators are still looking for the shooter.
