NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — One person is dead Friday night after a shooting in the 3000 block of Creekwood Drive.
The incident occurred around 6:17 p.m. outside of building K at the Knollcrest Apartments.
Upon arrival, police found 33-year-old Timothy M. Hodge in the parking lot with gun shot wounds. He died at the scene.
Further investigation shows that Hodge was shot inside a parked vehicle and left on the pavement as the car drove away. Hodge did not live at the apartment complex.
MNPD named 31-year-old Tyrone McGee as the suspect for the incident. He surrendered just after midnight on August 12 and has been booked for Hodge's murder.
Detectives are continuing to look for the 2007 BMW X3 McGee was driving on the night of the homicide.
