NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — One person is dead after he was shot while driving on Briley Parkway near I-40 on Friday, April 26.
Gerges A. Youssef, 46, was shot around 4:28 p.m. while driving south on Briley Parkway in a black Honda CR-V, according to Metro police.
The car hit a guardrail and went off Briley into a grassy area. The vehicle had multiple bullet holes on both sides of the car.
Youssef had left work a short time prior to the shooting and was within a mile of his home. He was transported from the scene to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he later died.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
