NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Nashville ranks 11th for best places to start a business in 2020 out of 50 other cities, according to a report.

INC.com used seven essential indicators to make the list from early-stage funding, job creation, and it helped that Nashville's population has grown.

For those of you wanting to accomplish your 2020 goal of becoming a business owner, there are plenty of ways to find support. Launch Tennessee is a statewide entrepreneurial resource, and if you want to stay local, the nonprofit Nashville Entrepreneur Center may be for you.

Also, the mayor’s office launched the Navigation program, which connects founders with the programs and funds best suited to their businesses.

INC.com also says the best-kept secret in Nashville is the thriving tech scene.
