NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Hundreds of Nashville students received new shoes thanks to a nonprofit called Samaritan Feet.
The group works to fight foot-borne diseases and keep kids comfortable by donating shoes to those in need.
Community members also volunteered to wash the 400 kids' feet, but, volunteers say it's about much more than clean feet and shoes.
Samaritan Feet wants to give out one million pairs of shoes this year. They've already handed out more than 113,000.
