The 5 worst Trick or Treat items to give out on Halloween - according to Gordon Ramsay

Posted

Halloween is Monday and for many, it is time to welcome children to our doorsteps for Trick or Treat. Thankfully, you will not have to deal with an angry Gordon Ramsay at your door this Halloween.

Ramsay is best known for his temper tantrums during cooking shows such as "Kitchen Nightmares" and "Hell's Kitchen."

On Jimmy Kimmel's show, Ramsay listed off the five worst Halloween treats a child could get.

5) Smarties

When Ramsay tried to eat a few Smarties, he immediately spit them out.

"They are the perfect combination of aspirin and Tums," he said.

4) Circus peanuts

Who doesn't like marshmallows in the shape of peanuts?

"How (expletive) sad are they?" Ramsay said.

3) Candy corn

It's a pretty simple, sweet treat popular this time of year. But Ramsay has issues with it.

"It is not candy. It is not corn. It is ear wax formed in the shape of a rotten tooth," he said. "Seriously?"

2) Apples

While many worry about hidden objects in apples, apples remain a popular Beggars' Night treat. But Ramsay disagrees.

1) Pennies

OK, we all agree that anyone who gives pennies away on Halloween is a cheapskate.
