NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Millennials across Nashville are taking on unique side hustles to help pay the bills.

Steve Ettinger, a writer and photographer, is one of them. On Sunday, he created coasters from his home.

"So I’ve been taking pictures of dogs pooping for a long time," Ettinger said. Around a year ago, he decided to put his photo collection to good use. So far, he's made shirts, mugs, pillows, towels, wall art, and more.

His friends and family loved his project so much, he launched an Etsy page called "Dogs Who Give a Crap." So far, he's made hundreds of dollars through the project.

"I decided that I would try to expand, and do a casting call of sorts with dogs of Nashville," Ettinger said.

If you want to help him expand his project, you can contact him through his Facebook Page.A portion of every sale is donated to the charity 'the dog cares about the most.'

"This side hustle is not one of necessity, it’s more of passion," Ettinger said.

If his project takes off, Ettinger hopes to use the photos to write a book for children one day.
