NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Nashville's First Baptist Church owns one of the most desired pieces of property along Broadway along 6th Street.

Nashville's First Baptist church has owned their prime piece of real estate for more than 50 years, watching downtown build up around them.
Despite offers of billions of dollars to move the church is staying put and is investing $36 million for a more contemporary campus.
The building along 6th Street will be torn down and replaced with a 500 seat chapel along with a fellowship hall and a rooftop chapel.
A community of faith and it's cathedral working to fit itself into an ever-changing skyline.
The new building should be completed in 2021.
