Here's one reason you may want to sleep in every morning: Nashville's workers are the most tired in the country!
74 percent of the country's workers are tired on the job, according to the study from staffing firm Accountemps. Nashville tops the list, followed by Austin, Denver, and Indianapolis.
That means they're more likely to make mistakes that cost the economy more than $400 billion.
If you're feeling sleepy on the job, experts say you need to change your habits.
"When you're employed it's your personal brand at stake and do everything possible to make sure that brand is number one," said Richard Deosigh, Senior Regional Vice President of staffing firm Robert Half.E
Experts say if you're one of those tired workers, you might want to talk to your manager about it. They also suggest to try to not to bring work home, and keep technology out of your bed. But, the number one tip: get enough sleep.
The online survey was developed by Accountemps and conducted by an independent research firm. It includes responses from more than 2,800 workers 18 years of age or older and employed in office environments in 28 major U.S. cities.
