NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — This was supposed to be a big weekend for families with college graduates.

It was supposed to be graduation week.

Many ceremonies were canceled because of the pandemic. Some schools, though, have decided to take a different route by live streaming their ceremonies.

There will be multiple ceremonies streamed during different times throughout the day from Belmont and Lipscomb Universities. The streams will have pre-recorded messages for the students. Only stage guests will be on the live stream.

Other universities, such Tennessee State University, have decided to reschedule Spring 2020 graduation for a later date. While they are doing live streams, Belmont and Lipscomb have also decided to have an in-person graduation day in August for graduates who would still like to walk across the stage.
