NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Tens of thousands of travelers slammed Nashville International Airport Monday following the end of two big music events. Both CMA Fest and Bonnaroo wrapped up Sunday.
Airport officials said a record 20,000 travelers flew out of the airport. They said when you add in the normal surge of Monday morning business traveler with the fans from CMA and Bonnaroo you get a record-breaking day.
The airport said they had more TSA staff on hand to deal with the long lines, but travelers still had to pack their patience.
