NASCAR Champion’s Week comes to Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Thousands of NASCAR fans will descend on downtown Nashville this week for an opportunity to celebrate their favorite sport.

NASCAR Champion’s Week comes to Nashville for the first time Dec. 3-5. Nashville’s Riverfront Park will be transformed for a series of events that will allow fans to get up close and personal with their favorite NASCAR drivers. All sixteen 2019 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Playoff drivers will participate in the event.

Fan Fest and autograph sessions will be held along Lower Broadway and Riverfront Park Dec. 3 and 4. This will include a display of all the 2019 Monster Energy Series Playoff cars, giveaways, and autographs from drivers.

NASCAR night at the Opry will take place Dec. 3 at 9:30 p.m. Burnouts on Broadway will be Dec. 4 from 6-8 p.m. The event wraps up Dec. 5 with the red carpet and NASCAR Cup Series Awards at Music City Center.

WeGo bus routes will be changed and several roads will be closed around downtown for the event:
