NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Music City Bowl has brought thousands to downtown Nashville -- along with major traffic congestion.

Nearly 60,000 fans have packed Nissan Stadium as the Auburn Tigers face off against the Purdue Boilermakers.

For tailgaters, the parking lot opened early Friday morning, but the city also has other parking options across downtown. Click here to check availability.

For those downtown, the traffic protocol will be the same as with Tennessee Titans games.

The Woodland Street Bridge closed to traffic at 10 a.m. If you use an Uber or Lyft, there will be special drop-off and pick-up spots on 1st Street South, between Korean Vets and the pedestrian bridge.

The stadium bag policy also remains in effect. Fans not allowed to bring anything larger than a ladies’ clutch inside, unless it's a clear plastic bag.
