RUTHERFORD CO., Tenn. (WTVF) — After announcing last week it would close due to the pandemic, Murfreesboro's City Cafe will remain open, according to the restaurant.
The cafe shared on Facebook that it will not close, thanks to community support.
"We love our community! We love our customers! With your loving and continuous support City Cafe will live on!" the post read in part. "Saying 'Thank You' just doesn't seem like enough because you have changed our lives forever."
City Cafe has been a local staple for over a century, operating for 120 years.
