There are more volunteer opportunities available in Mount Juliet this Saturday, the Mount Juliet Police Department (MJPD) announced.
Classified as Mount Juliet Strong Community weekend, the sign-up response was so strong, there was no more space for volunteers. That has now changed, and MJPD is calling for anybody ready to help to meet them this afternoon at the Walmart located at 300 Pleasant Grove Road.
Registration begins at that location at 12:30 p.m. Saturday. Anyone 16 years old and above can participate, but anybody under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
