MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WTVF) — Monday kicks off the annual Western Kentucky University and Middle Tennessee State University competitive blood drive.
The contest runs through October 5.
Both campuses parter with the American Red Cross to set up a blood donation center and the school with the most donations gets a trophy as well as bragging rights ahead of their game on the 15th.
