Metro Schools staff and students held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of Eagle View Elementary School.
It's the newest addition to Metro Nashville Public Schools. The $19 million construction project began in 2016 to meet the area's growing needs in Southeast Nashville.
The new building on Eagle View Boulevard in Antioch will serve 800 students.
