The Chester County Sheriff announced in a press conference that the body of 2-year-old Noah Chamberlin was found 1.5 mile from his home.

Noah went missing more than a week ago while his grandmother took him and his 4-year-old sister on a nature walk through the woods near Pinson.

Law enforcement officials fought back tears during the conference. They said no foul play was suspected, and his death was a tragic accident.

Dozens of search crews spent days trying to find the little boy. The sheriff said they found his tracks in the woods Wednesday, which led to his discovery.

They believed Noah got disoriented when he walked away from his grandmother. Officials said he was found near a trail that he could have stayed on to find help.

An autopsy has been requested. Officials continued to request the community to keep the Chamberlin families in their prayers.
