A man has been arrested after allegedly stabbing a victim nine times during a robbery.
Authorities said the suspect, identified as Charles Williams, reportedly attacked the victim inside a gate in the parking lot of Room In The Inn on August 21.
Williams reportedly asked a man for money, and when the man said no, Williams then allegedly took out a knife and demanded the man’s wallet.
The man said no again, and that’s when Williams reportedly jumped on him and stabbed him nine times.
The man was stabbed in his back, chest, stomach, hand, and shin. He was treated at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
A witness was able to identify Williams, and he was arrested Saturday.
Williams has been charged with especially aggravated robbery with his bond set at $100,000.
