NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Police say they’re working to identify the gunman who shot and killed a 34-year-old man inside his car, Monday night.
The call came in at 7:25 p.m. in the area of Weaver Drive and School Lane, not far from Murfreesboro Pike. Police said officers responded to a report of gunshots in the area and found Alexander Presley inside his running car.
Presley had been shot, and the car had a bullet hole in it. Police say he died at the scene.
Witnesses reported that Presley was sitting inside his car in the driveway of his home when a newer model black sedan pulled in behind him. Police said two people got out, approached Presley’s vehicle and one of them fired a shot.
The two then fled. Presley drove to the 1300 block of School Lane, where officers found him.
