Man Charged With Pulling Gun On Bank Employee

A man in Franklin has been released on bond after authorities said he pulled a gun in the parking lot of a local bank.

The incident happened around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Fifth Third Bank in the 200 block of Public Square.

Authorities said 62-year-old Dennis Caudill, who was reportedly a disgruntled customer, pulled the gun on a bank employee in the parking lot. The incident happened during an argument over bank business. 

Officials said they found him and his vehicle a short time later, and he had a gun in his pocket.

Reports stated a second handgun was found in the vehicle.

Caudill was was charged with aggravated assault. He was free on a $7,500 bond, and he has been scheduled to appear in court at 1 p.m. on December 14.
