Man arrested after knife attack in downtown Nashville

A man had to have 20 stitches to his face after a knife attack in downtown Nashville. A suspect has been arrested in the case. 

According to an affidavit from Metro Nashville police, the incident happened behind a bar on Broadway. 

Police said the victim was urinating in the alley out back when a man told him to go somewhere else.

When he didn't, the suspect allegedly pulled a knife and attacked the man, slashing him several times in the head before running off.  

The victim was rushed to an area hospital, where he received 20 stitches to his face and 15 staples to his scalp. 

He managed get a good look at the suspect and later identified the suspect, Dustin O'Brien, in a lineup. He was charged with aggravated assault.
