Main Street Reopens After Motorcycle Crash In Spring Hill

SPRING HILL, Tenn. - A roadway in Spring Hill has reopened after a crash involving a motorcycle. 

The wreck happened around 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the westbound lanes at State Route 6, on Main Street
near Saturn Parkway.

Authorities said the incident began when a black sedan ran a motorcycle off the road.

The motorcycle driver was airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with critical injuries. His identity was not known. 

Officials said the sedan fled the scene.

Lanes going eastbound and westbound were closed while authorities reconstructed the scene.

The scene was cleared around 11 p.m.
