NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to travel to Nashville for the NFL Draft – and they’ll all need a place to sleep.

You might run into trouble if you haven't booked a place to stay yet, at least if you’re hoping to find a good deal.

A quick check on Google Hotels showed the cheapest room near downtown at $180 a night, with most options in the $300-$400 range.

Some hotels, like the Omni Nashville Hotel, have been booked for weeks.

The average price for an Airbnb looked a bit cheaper but many of those cheaper options are further out from downtown.

The hospitality service says they're expecting hosts to rake in $5 million from the 21,000 people expected to stay at Airbnbs from Thursday through Saturday – the largest in Nashville Airbnb history.

As for how much the city will make, they won't know until after the big week, but according to the NFL, in 2018 the Draft had a more than $125 million economic impact for the Dallas region.
