Authorities were working to determine if the same person was responsible for two armed robberies in Nashville overnight.

The first incident happened around 12:30 a.m. at a Daily's convenience store on Vultee Boulevard.

Officials with Metro Nashville Police said the suspect entered the store with a gun and demanded money from the store clerk.

Police said two other employees and a customer were forced to the ground at gunpoint.

As the robber was leaving the scene, the victims got up and ran after him.

About two hours later, officers were called to a Jack in the Box restaurant on West End.

In that incident, the suspect was again wearing a hoodie and a red bandana.

Officers said he climbed through the drive-thru window and forced employees to give him cash from the registers at gunpoint.

No one was hurt in either armed robbery.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 615-74-CRIME.
