Emergency crews were on the scene at a home in Hermitage where a man had been possibly armed and dangerous inside, refusing to come out.
The incident began Sunday evening at a home in the 4500 block of Brooke Valley Drive. Authorities confirmed the situation ended peacefully around 9 p.m.
Initially, officials had described the situation as a standoff, but they had not released further details on the man inside the home.
Officials could be heard at the scene asking the man to come out with his hands up. They informed him they had the home surrounded.

Police had also moved those in the area further away from the house, saying they believed the man was armed and dangerous. At least one home had been evacuated.
SWAT personnel had also been called to the scene.
Again, officials confirmed the situation ended when the man barricaded in the home gave up peacefully around 9 p.m. Details on any possible charges had not been released.
