A man was arrested after allegedly firing shots at a car with children inside during a road rage incident in Davidson County.
It happened Sunday night near the intersection of Old Hickory Boulevard and Donna Drive in Madison.
According to an affidavit from Metro Nashville Police, Preston Davis has been accused of using a semi-automatic handgun to fire multiple shots at the victim's vehicle.
Details as to what led up to the shooting were not known.
Police said several bullet holes were found in the vehicle.
Three adults and three children were inside at the time. However, no one was hurt.
Davis faced six counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and has already bonded out of jail.
He was expected to appear in court next month.
