A Shelbyville man has been charged and arrested in the shooting death of a Bedford County woman.
Officials said they took 28-year-old Kavaris Kelso into custody early Thursday morning.
Through an investigation by the TBI and the Shelbyville Police Department, Kelso was named as one of those responsible for the shooting death of his cousin, 45-year-old Angela Kibble on September 14.
Kibble was found dead in her home by a neighbor in the 800 block of Belmont Avenue in Shelbyville.
Kelso has been charged with one count of criminal homicide. He was being held without bond in the Bedford County Jail.
