A high school band from Rutherford County spent the Thanksgiving holiday in Hawaii for a special trip.
The Stewarts Creek High School band marched in a parade commemorating the 75th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.
Those with the school said 214 students made the trip.
The school was one of 30 from across the country participating in the event.

Students have been planning and fundraising for two years to make the trip possible.
They wrapped up a performance at Pearl Harbor on Sunday.
The band was scheduled to be in Hawaii for a total of seven days and will return home on Wednesday.
