Crews were working the scene of a large house fire in Davidson County.
The fire happened just after noon Saturday at a home in the 6500 block of Radcliff Drive.
A witness saw flames at the back of the home and called authorities.
According to officials, three people, a father and two children, were inside the home at the time of the fire.
All three were taken to the hospital for minor injuries. Authorities confirmed one child suffered a minor burn.
The roof was fully engulfed in flames when crews arrived on scene. Witnesses said they saw the family escape through a second floor window.
Two dogs were also inside the home, and both made it out safely.
The cause of the fire had not yet been determined. The investigation was ongoing.
