Hundreds Tour Tiny Homes Exhibit

A traveling tiny homes exhibit rolled through the Mid-State.

Hundreds walked through sixteen tiny homes at the Wilson County Expo Center this weekend.

Attendees said they were looking for a home with either a reasonable-sized kitchen or a bathroom big enough to not feel claustrophobic.

Others came to talk with designers and figure out if tiny homes would be an option for their family.

"Each person is different,” said Jesse Geist. “The one that we’re currently building is for a family that has a handicapped son, and they want to take better care of him, so they're downsizing to something more manageable that way so that they can spend more time with their son.”

The road show's next stop was set to be Orlando.
