Police have asked the public’s help in identifying two suspects caught on surveillance video in a gas station robbery south of downtown Nashville.

The incident happened shortly before 3 a.m. Friday at a Twice Daily’s on 8th Avenue South.

Officials with Metro Nashville Police said two men walked in and grabbed three cases of beer.

When they got up to the register, one suspect acted like he was going to pay but then allegedly pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded cash. One of them grabbed an undisclosed amount of money from the drawer.

Both fled the store with the cash and beer. K9 officers tracked their scent to a nearby building, but neither suspect has been caught.

Police said both suspects were seen on surveillance video. Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 615-74-Crime.
