The driver of an SUV was injured when his vehicle collided with a Greyhound bus on Interstate 24.
The incident happened shortly before 1:30 a.m. Thursday along eastbound I-24.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said the driver rear-ended the bus bound for Atlanta in the far left lane.
The person was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center but was expected to recover. One person on the bus was treated for minor injuries.
The crash caused a delay for motorists overnight while police cleared the scene. At one point, all lanes of I-24 East were closed.
No additional details were known.
