Prior to the chase, investigators said the juvenile and a friend had been smoking marijuana given to them by 20-year-old Dezire Baganda.
Baganda also allegedly let them play with a pistol before attacking the friend during an argument. The other juvenile drove away in Baganda's car during the fight.
Officers tried to conduct a traffic stop of the stolen black Lincoln town car, but the driver never pulled over.
Instead the teen allegedly tried to hit an officer while getting away and side-swiped other vehicles during the pursuit.
According to police, the teen led officers all the way down to east Nashville where he crashed into a guardrail on Ellington Parkway at Spring Street.
The chase lasted for about 15 minutes.
Even though his car was stolen, Baganda was jailed for assault and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
