Health care entrepreneur Clayton McWhorter has passed away at the age of 82.
To say he was well known in the health care industry would be putting it mildly.
A building was even named in his honor, and that of his late brother Fred, on the campus of Belmont University: McWhorter Hall.
U.S. Senator Bob Corker released a statement saying McWhorter's "impact on the business, civic and political landscape of Nashville and Tennessee will be felt for decades."
