1 Injured In Germantown Shooting

At least one person was injured in a shooting in the Germantown area of Nashville.

The shooting happened just after 8 p.m. Thursday in the 700 block of Hume Street.

According to police, a 31-year-old man was injured when he was hit for unknown reason while standing near a late 90's model, gray GMC truck. The truck was pulling a red trailer and was occupied by the male suspect who was in his late 40's.

 

 

The suspect allegedly drove away toward Interstate 65.

The victim was shot twice in the lower abdomen. He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with serious injuries. On Friday, authorities said the victim had undergone surgery and was in stable condition.

The investigation remained ongoing.
