The sights, sounds, and flavors of Italy were on display during a festival in Nashville.

The Italian Lights Festival wrapped up Sunday at Bicentennial Mall.

The three-day event featured everything from grape stomping to wine tastings, dance lessons, and live music.

This was the seventh year of the festival, and organizers said it has grown every year.

“Even though we have expanded and Nashville is blowing up, it is still home, and we still need to showcase what the roots are,” said Michael King, Festival Director and Owner of Monell’s. “People who come in, come and experience this and say this is pretty awesome.”

Proceeds from the festival were set to go to the Nashville Hospitality Association's "Pro-Start Program."

It has funded educational and training programs for high school students who want to be chefs.
