A woman has died after a shooting that injured another woman in Williamson County.
The incident was reported before 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Fairview Boulevard and Southern Road in Fairview.
Officials with the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office said two people were shot.
Police found two women on the front porch. One of them was 37-year-old Mindy Rutland of Pegram, TN who was deceased, and the other was 48-year-old Kim Patterson of Nashville, who was wounded.
A friend of the victim’s family told NewsChannel 5 that a female victim died around 9 p.m. The condition of the other person was not known.
It’s unclear at this time if any suspects have been taken into custody.
