On Monday a 2-year-old French Bulldog from Spring Hill will compete in the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.
It's the 140th show and 3,000 dogs will be competing against Hazel.
Hazel's show name is "Grand Champion Jafrak Persuade Me Not."
Ann Egan said, "I'm thinking that if I was going to name a show dog, I probably wouldn't have used 'persuade me not.' But it's worked, so it's good!"
Egan got Hazel from a breeder in England. She said this show will be her biggest debut yet.
Egan said, "Hazel does not get nervous. Hazel loves to go to dogs shows. She knows something's going on because I started packing today."
Earlier in February, Hazel got to fly to New York City to ring the NASDAQ closing bell.
Egan said, "There's no rest for the wicked apparently and Hazel has been just really embraced. We've been so pleased that she's gotten a lot of support."
On Friday, Egan was packing while Hazel was able to rest.
Egan said, "Like a professional athlete that's afraid to change their uniforms or do anything, I'm afraid to change her lead off. So she's had her lead the whole career. We never wear red. Because the second place ribbons is red."
Egan said if Hazel scores in Monday's competition, she might retire.
"This is probably going to be her last show, and she'll probably retire and maybe have a litter or two of puppies for us."
When Hazel wins, her reward is a delicious treat. "It's a win for Hazel because whenever she wins she gets a plain McDonalds hamburger."
