A new team has been added to Music City's lineup. City officials and Legends Football League announced the addition of the Nashville Knights.

The LFL, which was formerly known as the Lingerie Football League, made history with the Knights by being the first LFL team in Nashville, as well as hiring the first-ever female head coach.

“Being Nashville based and already part of the Tennessee Titans family, I understand passion that Tennesseans have for football. Having also played the LFL game, it provides me a unique perspective. I am truly honored to be the sport’s first-ever female head coach, and even more so, in bringing Knights Football to Music City”, said Knights head coach Danika Brace.

Open Tryouts for the Nashville Knights will be held on Saturday, December 9 at International Indoor Sports Complex, 2310 Antioch Pike, Antioch, TN 37013. Registration starts at 12 p.m. and the Open Tryout kicks-off at 1pm until 3 p.m. Wear athletic attire and pre-register at LFLUS.com.

The Nashville Knights were set to kickoff at Nashville Municipal Auditorium April 2018.

Nashville Municipal Auditorium will host the two home dates, with the home-opener on Saturday, April 21 vs Austin Acoustic and the home-finale on Saturday, June 23 vs Omaha Heart. Tickets will go on-sale December 12, 2017.
