Lawsuit Filed In McKendree Village Accident

A $1 million lawsuit has been filed against everyone involved in a Kiddie train accident that injured eight residents at McKendree Village.

The accident happened last May when the train toppled during a day of fun at the adult assisted living center.

Lawyers said the facility, McKendree's program director, the company that owned the kiddie train and the driver are all to blame.

Rocky McElhaney represents Betty Fields who was 83 years old at the time of the accident.

She received a pelvic fracture, severe bruising to her head, arms and sides, internal bleeding and back and neck injuries from the wreck.
