ALGOOD, Tenn. (WTVF) — Quick-thinking first responders saved a woman with disabilities who was stuck in a swamp in Algood.
The woman with intellectual disabilities had wandered off from a group home near Mirandy Road.
The Algood Police Department got the initial call. In coordination with deputies from the Putnam County Sheriff's Office, they and other officers from the area pulled her to safety.
