The mother of 5-year-old Joe Clyde Daniels appeared before a judge on Monday for a status hearing.
Krystal Daniels was appointed a new attorney after her previous one posed a potential conflict of interest.
She was also granted a motion to transfer her from the Dickson County Jail to a state facility in Davidson County, much like her husband Joseph Daniels.
Joseph was indicted on several counts including murder for allegedly beating his son to death and dumping his body in a rural and remote location.
Krystal was charged on several counts including child neglect after being accused of knowing about the crime and failing to report it, and helping cover it up.
Crews have not been able to find the little boy's body despite countless searches and the confession from Joseph.
A trial has been set for March.
